Vandana Subramanian

At Sayre Therapeutics, Vandana leads global in-licensing activities, product portfolio, alliance management and corporate strategy.

At a leading Indian biotech, Vandana was the Associate Director, Business development, setting up a new vertical in molecular diagnostics and drug delivery devices across multiple therapeutic areas. Prior to this, Vandana held a senior marketing and product management role at Perfint Healthcare, for the Ultrasound and CT-guided ablation device segments in Interventional Oncology.

Vandana has had 7.5 years of medical devices experience across various technology verticals at Philips Healthcare. Her areas of expertise include new product introduction, business development, go-to-market strategy, product management and market research across Cardiology, Patient Care and Clinical Informatics, Oncology, Ultrasound and Mother & Child Care. With roles located in several global locations such as the US, Europe and APAC, Vandana brings in a rich understanding of the healthcare market advancements. She has co-authored a book ‘Access to Care’ as part of a strategic initiative of India’s top healthcare companies.

Prior to healthcare, Vandana headed business development for a Philips Incubator Program in the field of signal processing based out of Belgium, EU. Vandana began her career in sales and business development of Semiconductors for APAC at TATA Elxsi.

She owns a patent for an innovation combining cervical cancer detection and informatics. Vandana has a BE (Honors) in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS),Pilani.
